I work as a dentist for about 14 years and more than 8 years I am addicted only to orthodontology. My youngest patient is 3 years old and the oldest one is 55. I use different types of removable appliances (dental plates) and all types of braces in my work.

As far back as I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a doctor, so I even couldn’t imagine of being something else. So I came up to choice of profession rather consciously.

Since my school years I began to study medicine and also I often attended the medical study group in Kiev city Palace of Pioneers. I have completed Kiev Medical School № 1 and in 1990 I entered the dental department of the Kiev Medical Institute named after academician А. А. Bogomolets. After graduation in 1995 I worked as a therapist treated teeth for adults and kids. I loved it all and doing well.

But one day I have discovered the orthodontics and been keened on it. Since 2002 over 2 years I have hold the second internship and has received the additional education on the specialty on the Department of Orthodontics in the National Medical University. And now, for more than seven years, my work is connected only with the orthodontics.

I have never felt sorry about the chosen occupation. And I am proud to be a doctor. I like my patients very much and enjoy the fact that I can be helpful to them. I’m fond of my job, because it is creative and requires regular progress. And, on the other hand, it is based on the serious fundamental knowledge of the general medicine, the characteristic features of the adult’s and child’s organism and the stomatological health.

I always watch over the innovations in the orthodontic treatment. And of course, I take active part in many orthodontic congresses, symposiums, conferences both in Ukraine and abroad (the certificates of participation are available).

I am the member of Ukrainian, Russian and Belorussian Associations of Orthodontists.

I provide the orthodontic treatment to children and adults. I use different types of the modern orthodontic appliances: individually customized removable biteplates, orthodontic trainers, elastic positioners, fixed appliances, all types of dental braces (metal, ceramic, clear, self-ligating, lingual), translucent mouth guards.

Beside my work, I have many interests such as batik (printing on silk), child psychology, aromatherapy, swimming. My husband is a doctor too. He shares all my interests and supports me in my life and everything I do. We have two wonderful sons and, perhaps, one of them would like to be a doctor too.
